| Notes | Excellent fish for beginners, as they're nondemanding, colorful and peaceful. Since they don't grow too large they're suitable for smaller tanks. Like Bettas, Gouramis are labyrinth fish, which can take oxygen directly from the air. Mine unfortunately died soon after I got him, from unknown causes. |
